Instead of all elements on one plane, experiment with layering elements to create different layers in your composition. This can be accomplished through the use of foreground, background, and halftone elements. Layering can give your work a sense of perspective and make it more visually interesting. Play with the spatial relationships between the different elements and find the right balance for effective visual impact.
