CW: Intensive Paw Kink.

Those of you who follow for my paw art - this is for you. Those of you who follow for other content, you may want to pass on this one. I’m interested to see who here is up for this, so if you are, speak up. I will gauge how much this should be a venue for my work on adult comic art.

Here are four draft pages from roughly the middle of the comic. I started with them because they show a sort of mid-stream peak that will excite people and help set expectations. The story tells of a haplessly overconfident rookie on a community club Australian rules football team (“footy”). His post-scrimmage grandstanding gets him into trouble. The team captain organizes a weekend of correctional humiliation at the house where half of them live and most of them kick back. The twist? Our rookie has a crush on the older and stoic star of the team, and acquiesces partly to get close to him. Will he get that chance? Will he be found out? …and did he hear some of them talk like they are more than a team?

The amount of work it’s taking to develop these pages just in draft form is humbling, so we’ll have to see how much I can follow through. I sense it’s more about patience than pushing because the adult comics I admire seem to take 2-3 years. In any case, in these troubled times, it’s more important than ever to create this form of self expression.
