Looks like somehow the general from the old black and white movie they were watching during the spider episode found out a way out of the TV and into the real world where he found the shrunken Miss Frizzle and stripped her down to a very fun little bikini. and now he's testing all her trinkets from inside the bus. This strange ray seems to be fun.
