Okay, direction going forward (Jay and Carly)

I was overwhelmed by the response from the last poll. First of all, almost three quarters of you guys voted which means a lot to me. It also tells me you guys really love and care about this story which I love. I gave it a lot of thought this weekend and I think I've come up with a plan of attack:

First, I'm going to gloss over the rest of the honeymoon. Now before there's a revolt, know that I'll definitely get there with Carly's side eventually because, I think, the honeymoon will mean more to her emotionally than it does to Jay and it will make a much more interesting story. For Jay, it's just week of meaningless fornication with no long term affects. I'd spend a lot of time and energy coming up with different encounters but they'd never have any lasting impact on the story.

Second, I have a broad outline for a plot (thanks for the ideas) for a story going forward. I think that's given me enough to have something that meaningfully drives things forward while also introducing a few new characters (uhmm... nine? maybe more than a few). I actually need to cull down that list somewhat but I'll do that as I write (I tend to write pretty organically and I'm not a big outliner).

I'm about halfway through with the next chapter (hopefully up tomorrow or Wednesday).
