WGC: "Second Chances: Twenty-Five Years Later"

At just over a thousand words, we would write a short story fitting a chosen theme. The new theme for this week is, "Select one of your short stories. Write a continuation of it several years/decades in the future."
I decided to write an epilogue of sorts for the Town of Second Chances.
