Destined Journey Chapter 38: The Slime Pit
Added 2025-01-10 05:00:07 +0000 UTCFollowing on from the if-I-don't-know-it's-broke-I-can't-fix-it note, the autogenerated single-chapter epubs should now work in a wider range of readers. I'd tested in a couple, including calibre, but apparently they were broken in a couple of others, and presumably have been ever since I added them. Not quite sure what was happening, but my best guess is that they required a table of contents, even when the content was a single file.
That's what I get for rolling my own epub generation code, rather than using an existing library, I guess, but I'm taking my no-external-dependencies-or-javascript thing seriously. :p

Focused is a broken thing. Not even "compared to Diverse", simply just broken. But, also something that is near impossible to get under normal circumstances. If I'm counting & remembering right, end of C-rank is 20 points? Which means that the "you have poured your skill points into one skill" part is meant literally. On the other hand, Diverse is something you might want to avoid, I think.

2025-01-10 15:56:04 +0000 UTCepub works fine on the Books app on iOS. Good solution with putting them on your website. Epubs as an attachment on a Patreon post haven't worked on iOS for years, at least for me and a few other users.
