To Apple Store users

Hi there! You may have already read this in other content creators' posts, but I thought I should give my opinion on what's going on with the Apple store. Patreon sent me an email a few days ago talking about the Apple store's policy of charging 30% of anything sold in their store. Meaning, that if Patreon has an app in there, and you sign my Patreon page through this app, you give 30% of this value to Apple, not to Patreon, not to me.

Patreon gave me (and other creators) a choice to increase the price or have it taken away from my share. I'm not getting into what I think about this situation because it doesn't matter. I'm the weak link here. So... Since Apple doesn't offer me any sort of support (or would even allow me to publish my game in their store and give me the resources to do it), I choose to increase the price by 30%, but also, I choose to let you know this: You can still support your creators through Patreon's page instead of Apple's app.

If you want to spend extra money, give those 30% to content creators. They probably need it more than Apple (I know I do). This will affect Apple store users only. I'm not increasing my price anywhere else, it has been those values since I started and I intend to keep them this way as long as I can. I would rather bring more people together and give them extra stuff than raise prices to increase my profit.
