Hello everyone, and a warm welcome to the 4 newcomers who joined us this month! 🌟 This is my monthly digest, where I share the ups and downs of the past month, celebrate the wins, reflect on the challenges, and hint at what’s coming next.
Honestly, this month didn't turn out to be very artistic. I had to travel abroad to rent out my flat, which consumed nearly three weeks of this already short month. Consequently, the only artworks I managed to create were a last unfinished commission and one DTIYS piece — quite disappointing, I must admit. However, I did get to enjoy a live sketching session with an old friend. Here are some sketches from that session:

This month, I also delved into "Atomic Habits" by James Clear, a read that provoked a lot of thought. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to make meaningful changes in their life. Two quotes particularly resonated with me:
- "Professionals stick to the schedule; amateurs let life get in the way. Professionals know what is important to them and work toward it with purpose; amateurs get pulled off course by the urgencies of life."
- "When a habit is truly important to you, you have to be willing to stick to it in any mood. Professionals take action even when the mood isn't right."
Reflecting on my break from drawing, I realized how easily a brief pause can turn into a habit... and then everything starts to crumble. This realization hit home. Inspired by Clear’s insights, I vow to maintain my drawing routine, no matter the distractions or challenges.
Despite the artistic hiatus in February, I was featured in two publications — an interview in English for HolyArt gallery, in anticipation of my participation in their New York exhibition in March, and an article in French for the online pinup magazine PUL&P (former Culture Pinup) .

On the card project front, there was modest progress. I sketched the Jack, Queen, and King of Diamonds, all infused with Nordic Renaissance vibes (and a touch of piercing 😊). I plan to complete and share them in March (sketch versions are now available for Fan tier supporters).
As for plans:
- I’ll continue working on the card project while also returning to my regular pinup artworks.
- I’m exploring the possibility of hosting an exhibition at a local bar that seems promising.
Here’s to a more productive and creative March! 🎨👑
