Council of Sues (Story)

~Elsewhere~

Susan Storm had waddled through the open Bridge left on after a call to her, her blue and white suit tugging at the massive woman as her hips rubbed against the edges of the portal built by her husband years ago. With a minor struggle the Invisible Woman had left Earth 62121.

Sue entered a white and blue station to meet…More of herself. Two of herself to be specific.

While Sue was about 810 pounds. one of these versions surpassed her by quite a bit, adorning a blue suit with a large stylized 4 and a smaller black collar, along with the usual gloves and boots. Another distinction was her hair length as well, being much longer than her own with it starting straight at the top then getting frilled up as it went down.

The other was the slightest bit smaller, with a similar hair length but her suit was a reverse of the other’s being mostly black with blue gear. She was a little less evenly distributed than the others with a belly that dragged down beyond her knees. And unlike the others where their bellies doubled over, hers was a single round orb of fat.

Still, the commonalities were too obvious to ignore for long, Sue had to speak up to her variants, “This is freaky, you two aren’t Skrulls are you?”

The long-haired Invisible Woman had a belly laugh, “If we were I don’t think we would say, but I confirmed with Stomach Sue over here just a moment ago, allow me!” She raised her bloated arms to lift the smaller Sues up with invisible constructs of a chair and a hand! The other Storms showed off their powers as well, thankfully they were all able to see their own and thus each other’s constructs.

“So it's an alternate Earth deal, why’d you call me over then?” Sue asked.

Susan replied with a hand on her ample bosom, “I was called here too, I don’t know why we’re here. But for simplicity’s sake, I’m Susan from Earth-122012!”

“62121 is my Earth’s designation!”

Suzie looked nervous, “I’m from 12621, and I should stop ignoring the…well, elephants in the room, why are all of us fat?”

Sue looked at her doppelganger with a notched eyebrow, “Where I’m from just about every lady superhero is plus-sized, although I’m on the bigger end of the spectrum,” and after a grin and a smack to the hefty hips, “Perk of experience with the job. I’m guessing you’re in a similar boat, you look even bigger than I am!”

Susan laughed, “Yeah I got quite the appetite, I wouldn’t say every woman is fat in my world, but there are quite a few. Wasp, pretty much all of the current Avengers girls, quite a few X-men, but it's not exactly mainstream I’d say.”

Suzie blushed, “Well, I was fattened by a demon, Chthon using our friend Wanda as a vessel. It's why I chose to get back in these suits…I thought it would look slimming. Our Sorcerer Supreme is trying to reverse it but it's taking longer than anticipated.”

The other woman looked hurt by her tale, “That’s awful,” Susan said, “This kind of living should be a choice if we can help it.”

Sue approached her variant, “Listen, we hope we can be proof that this hurdle shouldn’t stop you from being a hero, or look good while doing it.”

Suzie blushed one last time, “Thanks, gosh, this is taking self-therapy to a new level huh?”

Just then a wall opened, “Sorry to keep you waiting, we got a little winded,” a voice said as three more figures walked up, all with more varied figures.

One of them was wearing red and black with a diamond four while having her blonde hair slicked back. She looked about four-hundred pounds with a pear-shaped body and not a care in the world. The one next to them was smaller, appearing to closer to three hundred and seventy pounds, unlike the other Sues this one had a darker complexion with dreads tied to a ponytail and sporting a fancy pair of glasses with a lab coat. The final one was the biggest yet, well over a thousand pounds, wearing a short sleeved uniform as well as thigh length shorts. She was somehow still waddling but as anyone with similar powers could see, this super-sized Sue was using her powers to move around, using an almost pogo-like contraption to simulate movement.

“We invited you,” the smallest Susan said, “I’m the Invisible Woman of Earth 9823, and we’re asking you to join the Council of Sues.”

All three were shocked, they remembered the Council of Reeds, and how they wanted their husband to turn against his family in the name of fixing the world, Sue spoke up “What’s the mission here?”

The red-suited one answered, “Just one, ensure the safety of the multiverse from ourselves…Uh you’ll see.”

The practically-immobile one also spoke up, “But besides that we just hang out, give each other advice, have lunch a lot, as well as discuss why so many universes have so many fat women before giving up all over again.”

Suzie exhaled, “Huh. Not quite what I expected.”

9823’s Invisible Woman motioned them to follow her, “What Josie, don’t ask, meant was that we were united to an eye on one of this multiverse’s greatest threats. Kang the Conqueror.”

Susan raised a finger, “Isn’t he an Avengers threat? Or not a very strong one at that?”

Invis shook her head, “Not him nor Rama Tut, or anyone you’re accustomed to. No, underneath that mask…”

They arrived at the cell, and it appeared to hold another very fat woman, turning to reveal long blonde hair and scars that only threw them off for a moment. But it was clear.

This imprisoned Kang was a version of themselves.

“What did she do?” 62121’s Sue asked.

Immobile Sue answered, “She changed a timeline on such a scale the only way to repair it was for it to destroy itself and start over. We never found out what new universe came out of it, but she still took countless lives to accomplish it. One of us found her here and kept her. Only trusting more Susans to help. Luckily our numbers got larger and larger to the point only a few of us need to rate out of guard duty.”

Suzie looked at the conqueror, “Wild, so all three of you are keeping her in here?”

“Eh, two of us, Josie just sticks around for insurance.”

The red one winked while showing off a flaming arm, “If I wanted to invite my big brother Silas I would but I got the vibe a girls club should stay a girls club.”

All three Sues didn’t want to have to process the logic behind that universe for too long, instead asking to see the others.

Josie led them to an elevator, “Good luck, and try to keep the jaws off the floor, we just cleaned it” she said giggling to herself.

All three floated up and would exit to see an unbelievable sight.

So many Susan Storms.

A few were thin and some were just chubby, quite a number were pregnant while others were bringing their babies to the hangout. Some were more muscular than fat, (one or two looked like She-Hulk as well) but most were downright fat. Obese. Lots were even immobile using their powers to skate by much like the other Sue.

If the company was anything to go by, at least the new recruits would be well fed as their stomachs all gurgled. Such a noise made the room perk up, leading to the crowd wanting to lead them to the biggest buffet they’d ever seen…
