Back in New York, Wasp and Power Girl were working together on a vessel to could withstand time travel. Not that either were 100% sure what they would be doing would work in the end. The rest of the team was upstairs eating and making plans.
Mary Jane was unused to all this. Usually she would stick to using her girth and strength and all the street smarts she had to win her fights. Now she had to strategize against a literal time traveler. This was gonna be tough.
Emma was a lot more help when it came to brainstorming, while Dazzler would sort of daze off while pigging out. All the girls were filling out quickly thanks to Zatanna’s charms. However, looking out the window Dazzler saw a figure approaching their building. A tall, round, and metallic purple and orange woman. There were cracks in the ground with every step she took. And she got closer Dazzler could make out a determined scowl on her face.
Dazzler waddled over to her teammates trying to get their attention. Emma would wave her off, until Dazzler summoned a bright light that filled the room to get their attention. She warned MJ and Emma of the incoming intruder. They all go to look out the window…to see nothing. The blonde and redhead give Dazzler the stink eye, until they hear a loud CRASH below.
Headed downstairs they see the orange-purple woman engaged in combat against Power Girl. Jackpot noticed the Wasp on the back of the neck trying to attack it in smaller subtle ways. Dazzler and Jackpot join in to aid Power Girl while Emma stays behind.
Trying and failing to make a mental connection, Emma concludes that this trespasser must be some sort of robot! Wasp uses her blasts to open a small panel. Unfortunately the technology is completely alien to her. Or perhaps it’s much more advanced than their present technologies.
Jackpots tells Dazzler and Power Girl to get the vessel out of here and find the rest of the team while the she holds the antagonistic android off. Power Girl lifts what she can while Dazzler makes another large flash of light to cover their tracks.
Now the robot needs to find her primary objective again. And she grows. Not like Jackpot, but growing in height, more akin to Janet’s ex-boyfriend Hank Pym, Giant-man. Things got a lot more complicated…
Thanks for reading and waiting! My comic production is getting a bit of a delay so I hope to get to work on part four sooner than I thought! We’re gonna see the whole team against the Growing Woman next 😉
