I'm so pumped to show you guys Chapter 4...I'll be introducing a new character and ramping up the tension. And yeah, Sue's struggle will continue to be fighting the urges her curse inflicts. On the one hand their cost is horrific but the benefits are so alluring. I'm really excited to build her character arc. Oh and yes, the pain of the changes will lessen over time. She may end up enjoying them in a sick Hellraiser sort of way lol

I said last week that I hope the pain of transformation lessens as Sue's story continues. But I don't know if I would want her to retain her human consciousness any longer than we have seen...especially if the rage and hunger remains.

You established them in the preceding page and along with the way you drew they eyes they really captured the remnants of Sue's personality and awareness getting buried by this thing she's becoming. The way the eyes snap open in these panels really conveys that Sue has left the building, so to speak, and having the tears still there drive home that just seconds before, she was still there fighting for her soul and/or sanity. This whole thing has been a masterwork from beginning to end, BTW.
