I appreciate the horrifying grimace she’s making, and all of the little interactions she’s having with the couch; it really makes the whole metamorphosis seem more visceral. Really looking forward to watching what happens to Sue’s torso and midriff next!

The thing is that there seems to be some "narrative room" between the panel where her back is cracking and the following ones, just considering her body position. Well, to this point is could be somewhat difficult to find a suitable solution, but well, you are the creative here ;).
