Weekly Update #45

Not much to talk about really, just planning this month's work. I'm hoping to do some very large and very ambitious stuff split over future updates, so this month's, while bigger than last month's, will be smaller than some future update that will have several months worth of work gone into it. At present, the #1 thing slowing me down is the sheer amount of art I would need to draw for future updates. I simply can't get all the art done for some of these ideas in a single month.
In the long term, I want to expand the avenues of dating, making it more than just a single linear path, but with multiple pre-date encounters and multiple date scenarios. I'm planning on adding to this over time. Some characters might even only be dateable if the player has befriended one of their friends first!
As for this month specifically. I thought it would be a good idea to flesh some things out, focus more on pre-dating scenes and giving some new characters a bit of a spotlight. I'm hoping to be able to implement a kind of "skill" system, which gives the player access to unique dialogue, and possibly in the future, entirely unique storylines.
