WIP! Runicca: A New Adventure Awaits! New Game Teaser!

Hey guys!

I've been quiet about this game for some time now, sorry about that! I just don't want a repeat of Summer in Springtime when we decided on that! Introducing Runicca, the upcoming fantasy game from us to you! 

I'm in the middle of putting things together, but I'm still at the start of this journey so it'll take some time to get these ideas in my head out there.

So far I've prepared the game's main foundation - the first thing you see and the backend of things. I'm close to start developing  the story but before I do that I need to consider things for the future.

Right now, there will be an extra delay as I'm trying to make the sprites for our new hero, Viktor Highjagen, and putting together a new character, the planned alternative female heroine, Lotte "Slayn" Berrywindall, who is his non-blood related "sister" (in quotes because she's a fellow adopted orphan, like Quinn. Non-blood related cuz I know what you guys and gals want ;) ;) Well, at least it opens up the possibility later on.

This game will be developed in Viktor's point of view first. If things go as planned, we can make a different point of view for Slayn (if things go as planned then we have to scrap the plans for her).

The game will have a main story line divided into Episodes, and will be developed for the web in mind so other players can discover and play the game easily. What I was thinking of is, between these Episodes there will be in-depth and extra scenarios to play. This is where the other meat of the game will be and a lot of the decision trees are made here. The main story episodes will be available to all, but these extras in between are available only to you guys. Will there be a dating aspect to this? How about a playboy aspect? I'm hoping to mix the two in there, but it's still something I have to think about because it involves game and story structure.

There's a lot more stuff to do to make this game come alive, so I hope this teaser hypes you up, and I hope we can live up to your expectations despite our limitations!

I'm expecting this game to be bigger than Ramen no Oujisama, but please don't hold on me on to that. I'm on the edge of losing myself juggling the two games O.o

There's also a question I'd like to ask you guy about: Are you guys okay with non-animating sprites? The special scenes will remain animated, I'm only talking about the character sprites. I have to consider this just in case performance on Android is going to be a problem. Let me know below!
