WIP! Game Dev Update, and News!

Hey guys!

I wasn't expecting to prepare another pose for our Elven heroine, but here it is! I figured this will be useful later on.

I have a couple of thoughts I'd like to share with you guys. With regards to this game, I have a number of these artworks now that need to be shaded in, so that's what I'm doing right now. I'm preparing all the artworks for the story of the game, this doesn't include the sexy scene yet. I'll take that on after the other important stuff are done. Example is the above artwork, this still needs shading.

In relation to the artwork, I plan to put in battle scenes, stuff coming out of RPGs, but since we're dealing with something that's focused on the story, it's going to be made solely with this in mind, so no RPG battle system with health bars, damage calculations, etc... 

Another thing about these battle scenes - there will be graphic violence (against vicious monsters). I'd like to mix it with some animation, so I'll see what I can do about that.

Now, once I'm done with the base artwork, I'll quickly move back to Ramen no Oujisama and open out the path to Ren's route and her first chapter as I'm going to get it from Sharkie soon. Due to quarantine, there have been unexpected complications that we both have to deal with IRL. What this means is our time is taken up even more than before. So with Sharkie, he's even busier now to compensate for this, so he'll have to find time to create Ren's chapters. They'll come in, just a little slower than expected. As for me, I do face my time being eaten up as well, but I can continue with other related things as usual. For now, Ren's route will use the existing sprite artwork while the new ones are being prepared and assembled. Ren's chapters will be released per-chapter instead of batches of 4 like before.

That's it for now! I do hope to get this game out in the soonest possible time. After Ren's Chapter 1, there are the special scenes for this game's episode and Kikue and Shouko's artworks to deal with. @.@
