Style Preference Poll!

Linework on B could use a bit of sharpening up, but I heavily prefer B. I feel like it's so easy for every character to look exactly the same in the A style. Not to mention there's really no variance for age in A style. You can get so much more variety out of B. And get characters that ACTUALLY look different from one another, instead of a bunch of the same character in different wigs and outfits.

I liked both, but tended towards B for the reasons B commenters have raised. I do wonder if - with all due respect to my peers - the gender of the artist had an influence on the vote. Hopefully not, of course.

They're both good. I tend to lean more toward A, as long as the artist has the skill to make several different characters, each in a unique manner. Sometimes the more traditional anime style can inadvertently result in having different characters look too similar.

Hehe! We don't talk about our music bro! They're licensed and we can only use them within the game. That's why I included a sound test feature. Sorry about that! ^ ^V

Noted bro ;) I think that since there's a strong preference for A (at least at the time of posting this), changing a bit of B to achieve a bit more of that anime look might be an option.

I'll keep this in mind! Thanks for the feedback! I think being able to capture attention on first glance is important, but you also say that there's a long game towards the more mature design. Maybe my answer's somewhere in the middle...

I think it depends on the goal of the project or feel for the characters really. Both are of good quality and would look good for a project. Id be with others here and go with what works best for the project you guys know the character your thinking of so what would be best for her.

That might be the case :) Maybe the answer is in between somewhere. I'm trying to see if modifying B to look a little more like A might work.

Depends on what you want from the character. Both look like they are arround the same age. However A looks like the young and stupid kind that only needs a few minutes at the bare before your off to have sex. While B looks like the mature and smart kind that knows what you want and is gonna make you prove yourself worthy. Choose the style that works best with the character you are working on. Remeber that you are telling a story. If you can choose the style, then use that to your advantage as a storrytelling tool ^^

Strong preference for B. I really like a more realistic look.

Though A might appeal more to the masses due to the cuteness factor I think B would make a more mature/adult content even more credible and she could give the characters a sultry look which might be lost on the "lolita" style.

Voted A, but I don't dislike B at all and if that's what your instinct tells will work best then go for it. Pehaps my vote should be "A and B" to reflect that?

Is it bad as soon as I saw them I had already thought of a very simple way to do both of them in the story provided I'm assuming correctly in this is for Prince of Ramen
