Thoughts on and Directions of The 9th Character Route!

I agree i would like the game to keep real maybe she could be a girl who likes cosplay like some of our fellows say... And we could have her scenes wearing her cosplay costume! This could also apply for other charachters like a princess, a warrior, etc.

Gotcha! Your thoughts have been noted! I think we'll continue to see this sort of thing. If there's going to be something out of the ordinary, (like my goose, lol) it'll probably stay in the omake scenarios.

One of the things I've enjoyed about RnO is that all the girls and their situations are "lifelike". Real girls with real stories. While Kikue's cat is a prop for her work at the hospital, I can see another girl who enjoys cosplay, in this case, as a fox. Plot, storyline, interaction with other character(s) all staying in line with the current "design" of the game. Her route could bring in the convention center and one or two of the stores, maybe the park. As far as the "fantasy" aspect, I'd prefer the whole game remain in the "real" world.

Hehe! We'll definitely keep this in mind! This is what Sharkie was preserving, which is why there wasn't any of the supernatural stuff before. It's also another reason why not all characters appear in every other route - by keeping them localized in certain routes, I think we can control this aspect of the story. We'll also take note of your feedback on this :)

Maybe I'm in the minority, but my favorite thing about RnO was despite the exterior quirkiness of the characters, the plots were all very mature and realistic. There wasn't anything in the character routes that was too implausible. I'm not averse to having a foxgirl, but I feel that making her a god would require a lot more suspension of disbelief than I got used to in RnO

I didn't really think much of the shrine until the half way mark. We were toying with an idea that's supposed to tie in with the prologue. I don't know if we're still exploring that, but given you guys seem to be ok with supernatural stuff in the picture, I think we can look into that again.

Were getting to the final pair of chars I think theres supposed to be 10 and ren being 10 so im good with something like this for the final one. If the writing keeps up like it has been will be fun. As some others have pointed out with the shrine being such a thing I kinda felt like something like this was coming from the start. Our MC could use some wisdom from Holo whos a wise wise wolf /nods

Maybe something like that... unless she gets turned into an oni lol! We'll see! ;)

Ok, I don't know if everyone else will read this, but I hope they do: Since the game has a contemporary setting, are you guys ok with adding in mythological/fantastical elements to it?

What about the opposite of a goddess. Such as a beautiful oni that is trying to steal our MCs soul but falls in love instead and wants to become human to be with the MC

I better let him know about such possibilities then! Honestly, my mind's a blank right now from all the art stuff lol!

It'd definitely be an interesting take on things. Depending on her personality, the interactions between her and the other characters would probably be hilarious.

Can always use more kemonomimi tbh Also, goddess or pretender, this would be perfect for the shrine
