Iโve felt the same way from time to time about different Patreon subscriptions, but every book has ebbs and flows. It sucks because it can feel like youโre paying a premium for it, but asking an author to produce a set number of great chapters every week isnโt realistic. Sure, some of the last few chapters probably could be edited down into a single chapter, but on Patreon youโre paying to be part of the process, not just the end product.

Not to be a dick about it but like 99 % of the chapters are 1 conversation and not much else. Like there was that conversation....I mean chapter about how they killed some randoms but didn't want to tell each other. It's it interesting...sure but is it worth 1 chapter? Probably not. Just saying all the chapters are one convo and half of them are pointless....trying not to be a dick but if I were some dumb guy I would say that the real reunion is 120 'conversations' away and it's probably best to skip the whole thing for about 2 yrs given the schedule. That is all after saying that I really like the series. The only reason I bring it up is that a bunch of authors on patreon are doing the same thing. Just making $15 quality books take 1 year of $10 subscriptions to write....You all start out with a great story then you boil us like a frog with this tripe.

2026-01-03 08:09:01 +0000 UTCIt did swap to tues / Thursday for a while, it shifted off the standard schedule during a vacation, but there are generally 4 chapters a week aside from when Iโm on break (though the last month has been difficult due to the extra work on comic side stuff mentioned on Patreon, which caused a few missed days)
