Here's a test build of the Windows version of the game. It runs in line with the one in NG which was updated about an hour ago. Let us know how it runs for you :). This is running on CANVAS, so it should be fast for most if not all users. The Windows builds run on NW.js and has better quality background graphics.
Sometime in the future, we might be looking at a feature (to improve the sexy!) that will need us to switch to enable WebGL mode. Again, this is something we're considering but is not yet set in stone, so if you have any inputs you'd like to bring to the table, let us know! You'll want this to run on a dedicated GPU - something low to mid-tier graphics card/chipset from either ATI or NVIDIA ought to be fine. (To compare, our 5-year-old laptop runs on an Intel HD graphics + GeForce 540M).
