Poll for a new story

First of all, let me clarify that the upload schedule of Dreams of Stardom will not change at all. I will still release four chapters a week.

You may think, why is he even thinking about a new story and why not write more chapters per week for the current one? And you would be correct. The problem is that I am human as well and it's very likely that I will burn out if I keep pumping out chapters of the same story on a daily basis. A new story would be perfect for me to get those creative juices flowing.

That said, I have been toying with the idea of a new story for quite some time, as you may have seen in one of my earlier polls. Some of you have been more than kind enough to continue subscribing to my top tier despite $10 providing the same benefits. I can't thank you people enough, so as a little token of appreciation, I want to write this story exclusively for my $20 patrons. At least at the moment.

This one will be a more adult themed story (with lemons) as compared to DOS, and the chapters will be irregular, as I'll only write them when I'm done with weekly quota of DOS and have some time left. I have outlined at least ten different Hollywood based stories, but after a lot of consideration, I have shortlisted two among them which I like the most:

1. The MC dies and meets ROB. The ROB turns out to be a water deity and gives him very nerfed powers of Percy Jackson and sends him to the real world in the year 1961. But he regains his memory only when turns 18 in 1979. The MC becomes a world class swimmer because of his gifts even before he regained his memories, and plans to conquer the Olympics soon. He even gets a full-scholarship to Harvard as well, but due to his financial condition, he agrees to shoot some swimwear ads for a magazine, where he is noticed by a casting director. The casting director is the one casting for the movie [Blue Lagoon]. He is a little hesitant about it because the movie was infamous for its prolonged nudity, but IRL conditions forced him to accept it. (The MC would be reluctant to become an actor and would want to focus more on his swimming career. He would be more of a popular actor initially who is not liked by the critics, but the audiences love him. He will change his image slowly, if at all, or he could remain a popular actor who plays himself like The Rock. That part I haven't decided yet.)

2. The MC is a middle-aged man born in 1976 who gets in a car crash. His last thought before dying is how he was offered a great role in his youth but he declined it to finish his college degree. He even had a best friend in teen years, Leonardo DiCaprio. The two had drifted apart over the years. He is thinking that if he could go back in time, he would accept that role, and maybe this life would have been a little different and better. Next he knew, he wakes up in his 18-year-old body in the year 1994 with a nerfed gamer system. (The gamer system would not be the focus of the story, it's just a plot device for something I had in mind.) He tries very hard to get the role he was offered, but he fails the audition because he doesn't have acting experience anymore. So he decided to work hard and grind his stats to become a real actor. He starts with rekindling his friendship with Leo who tutors him and recommends him for a supporting role in his film [The Basketball Diaries]. (This story would be full of struggle in his initial days if I go this route as I will slowly develop the character into a superstar.)

So go and choose which of these summaries excite you more. If the selection is very close, then I'll choose the one I like more and go with it.
