Membership declining issues

Apparently there has been a widespread issue on Patreon where certain payment processors are declining payment methods. (I have been told one of them is PayPal). If you are having issues I would follow this guide or an even better option is trying to change your payment method.
I am also going to put up a slightly higher discount for a bit on the annual membership so if you sign up for that, you wont face declining issues on a monthly basis.
I apologize for this issue (even though its out of my hands).

This happened to me this month with another creator, but it actually resolved on its own in a few days...

2023-08-20 12:05:33 +0000 UTCCouldn't get it to work with PayPal (after using PayPal for years) and had to change to a different payment method. I was a little worried, but hearing it's a general problem relaxes me.
