This is one of my favourite episodes! I hate that people didn't see how good it was but I love it

Sarah

I actually liked that episode. I can resonate with the feeling alone and I'm glad they weren't actually evil this episode

This episode doesn't resonate with me at all. I recently watched a video where they rated the episodes of season 2 and this actually came bottom of the list as the worst episode. It's another one I usually skip. Honestly the Olympics stuff is just a little cheesy for my liking, specifically the doctor running with the torch at the end, and I really didn't sympathize with Chloe the way we are supposed to. I just found her to be really annoying lol.

Right, all we ask for are your authentic feelings. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜

Nine was my first Doctor, but as you can tell, Ten will always be my favorite, followed very closely by 12.

Oh right lol, sorry. I won't say that in the future.

I wish you wouldnโ€™t have told me that about crying. When people tell me they are expecting tears it doesnโ€™t always come lolโ€ฆ

A lot of people do agree with you about this being a "meh" episode. But personally I really like this one. I think the message is beautiful. Chloe is lonely and is haunted by nightmares of her abusive father and the Isolis is lonely because it's seperated from it's family, so it found Chloe and merged with her. It was trying to help Chloe, it didn't want to hurt anyone which is why it let everyone go when it got it's ship back. The whole episode was really a metaphor of how you can overcome any hardship with love and hope. I find it really uplifting. Also we were never meant to see the drawing of her dad because he didn't exist. He was Chloe's nightmare, he was a symbol of her trauma. And I think that was handled really well. But these are just my opinions and I respect yours. To answer some of your questions, Shayne Ward won X Factor UK back in 2005, the year before this season aired. He was a big deal in 2006 lol. This episode aired in Spring 2006, not long after London was given the 2012 Olympics. Backcombing is when someone brushes their hair from the ends of the strands towards the scalp, it gives the hair more volume and makes it look thicker. A kookaburra is a small bird, they're really pretty. And that song they sing is a classic British nursery rhyme that's sang to young kids either before they go to sleep or to calm them when they're upset/scared. I think that's everything lol. I can't wait for the two part season finale coming up, a storm doesn't begin to describe what's about to go down. If you don't cry I will lose all faith in you Travis, just FYI. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜œ

For me, the best thing about this episode is the growth in Rose. She's used to depending on the Doctor, but this time around, she had to figure it out herself and save everyone, including the Doctor. I do realize this isn't the first time she's saved the day, but I do believe that this one was the most meaningful. Anyways, we're almost upon the season/series 2 finale and the Christmas episode. It'll be interesting to see what you think of them, Travis
