2022-10-15 18:18:39 +0000 UTCYes!! I admit, I was a bit skeptical at first but I was proven wrong in the very first episode. I've been a life-long fan of the book series and I have been waiting years and years for a proper adaptation. There have been some big changes from the book, but they only enhance the story. The basic and most important story elements are all sill there. I would say at least watch the first episode. If you're not hooked by the end, that probably won't change.

I think I was in my early 20s when I first watched it, so it's been a while. Haven't seen that new series on AMC yet, so I might check it out. Honestly, I didn't even know about it until Marcus mentioned it
