I'm curious did Jon ever put 2 and 2 together about who his parents were in his first life I mean I can't see him not at least suspecting it given that he was born to a Stark women with the same name as his "aunt" who died of "fever" after supposedly being "kidnapped and raped" by a Targaryen add to the fact that his "father" refused to tell him about his mother and was reluctant to ever speak of Lyanna, speak negatively about Rhaegar, or the events of the end of the rebellion. With Ned all but brainwashing Jon into joining the watch all pieces of the puzzle are there and it would take dunce not to be able to put them together which Jon is not.

2026-02-21 16:52:25 +0000 UTCRite like tbh I never got that cuz we know that Corlys had bastards in canon and it's implied from what I remember that there are even more than Addam and Alyn and Rhaenys at least knew about the one on driftmark so it's not like their relationship is some idealized perfect relationship, especially when Corlys's pride, arrogance, and self-entitlement constantly shoots Rhaenys in the foot. On top of that Rhaenys would be such an interesting character to explore more of, her past history plays a huge part in the Dance of Dragons timeframe and yet we know next nothing about her. Yea I also agree on Jon marrying her with you tbh she'd of had a much better chance at gaining the throne if she married literally anyone else other than Corlys much less someone like Jon who would be completly loyal to her and has shown time and again that he has no issue giving up power for the greater good or for his loved ones.

Honestly would love to see a story where Jon goes back far enough to marry Rhaenys and actually help her ascend the throne instead of Viserys
