September Shenanigans...
Added 2019-09-26 15:32:59 +0000 UTCYou might be wondering why I'm taking so long on the content for this month. Maybe not. You all have your lives you're living, but I feel I owe you some sort of insight into my life. So for your enjoyment, Here's some of the things I have been doing this month that's been distracting me from doing more work on my Patreon Page.
1.) I turned 50 years old at the beginning of this month! Whoo! I don't really celebrate it so it's no excuse. What I did was to treat myself to do something I said I wanted to do for myself: That was to WALK around Lake Geneva, WI. It's only an hour or so away from Madison, WI. The weather was going to be nice and I wanted to do it before they pulled up the private boat docks as they sometimes block the path that is required along the lakeside for public use.

Yeah. It was a long walk and took all day. I had some huge blisters on my feet and was exhausted. So I spent the next two days, one of them my birthday, just sitting on the couch and recovering.
2.) Comic Conventions: I had a one day convention to attend so that took up one day but then I will have my first time at New Orleans Mighty Con this coming weekend. To do that I will be driving down there, starting tonight and will be back in Madison on October 1st.

3.) The glory of home ownership... I have many projects around the house that I've been meaning to get to so this was one. I wanted a pad for my garbage carts on the side of the house. Could have been a smaller project but these things tend to grow in scope once you start. Made too many extra trips to the home improvement store which ate up more time and was beat after the end of the day. More time needed to recover.

Of course the dirt there will need some sort of plants. That's for another day...
4.) Background extra work. Some of you may know this but most probably don't, but I am a human prop for some of the shows that are filmed in Chicago, IL. Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, some other productions as well. I managed to pick up a few more days than I normally do this month, but I do it, because I love watching the production of these shows. I also was working on some storyboards for another smaller production. But here are some shots from the time I spent on this location for the past 3 days.

Despite the presence of the massive amount of police, this is for Chicago Fire.
So, this being said, with me being out of town for the rest of the month, I'm afraid that September's content will be finished up in October, with packages probably being delivered in the second week. I'm grateful for each and every one of your support and will do my best to keep my commitment for this page. I guess you could call this my mid life crisis. :)
I will continue to work on pieces, if I can during the trip. Tsuyu and Black Cat are pretty well under way, with the background elements and second looks needed for their N1 pinup. The N3 will need more work and the N4 pinup of Raven is as a rough. I will post that before I leave tonight.
Thank you again! I hope you found some amusement with this update.

Thank you! It's something you can build up to or can do a segment to try. Was tempted to take the ferry back from Williams Bay, but persevered!

2019-10-03 18:59:35 +0000 UTCWe've lived out here nearly 40 years, and have never done that walk -- and at nearly 8 hours, we're not likely to! ;-) But congrats!
