TIER CHANGES COMING...
Added 2018-05-07 15:30:56 +0000 UTCHello Artboymoy patrons! After thinking about the time and effort being put forth to create the art for each month, I will be implementing some changes to the $20 SKETCHCARD tier and to the $50 DIRECTORS tier.
Here's what's going on:
The $20 SKETCHCARD tier will be gone and replaced with a $25 SKETCHCARD tier. You will still get the SUPER BACKER reward but after thinking about it, the time vs rate put towards personal patron rewards needs to go up. I just see that if it's not benefiting most of the patrons, the price should be higher.
That being said, it's still a great deal to have a sketchcard done at $10 and mailed out to you as opposed to the regular $15 plus shipping price, if you were to request it outside of Patreon.
And...
The $50 DIRECTOR'S tier will stay at that price, but will be going down to ONE spot for now. When I started out only one spot was being taken and it fit in fine to what I was producing, but now that all three spots were filled this month I'm facing what a daunting task it will be to produce it for this month and every month afterwards, I think I would really start to fall behind and the quality won't be as great as I want it to be.
But this is a tier I wish to continue to build as we get more people on board. The more patrons I can have backing me, then the more I will not have to rely on other work I need to do to support myself, meaning, I work for you all more. So it will be at one and I will add another spot at $1000 and another at $1500 goals.
Those that are currently in one of the above mentioned tiers will find their patronage dropped and will have to SIGN UP AGAIN and back me. It's how Patreon handles this. I can't just change it.
I'm not sure if this will turn you off or not, but it's just something I need to do to so it's something that builds and not something I build, in hopes that people find it. I'm doing all I can, but trying not to spam Facebook Groups with shameless plugs. I'll be putting more of the framed lower rez pics out there to help generate more hits, but if patrons could put out the word as well, that would be great!

Spacing it out so that patrons can't just squat on the commission tiers is probably a good idea. Lets more people have at.

Some people may not be able to afford dropping $25 or $50 but throwing $10 or whatever down for a few months or so is a good idea. I know one patreon were the artist will start a commission list and his top contributors get priority and get more elaborate pieces based on their total contribution. He considers this a reward as most of his art gets shared elsewhere but yet gis fans stay on and help him out.

2018-05-08 22:43:33 +0000 UTCOkay, someone else suggested that since I will only have one spot for the near future of the $50 tier, that it should be a rotating thing, meaning no one patron with means can sit on it, month after month. In order to be fair, I agree with this and since the old tier will be going bye-bye tomorrow, someone new can get in. There was also a suggestion for having a tier that could build up to having a commission done. I will have to look into this more. It's easy enough for me to see how much patrons have paid and for what months.
