💬 A Little Rant from a Frustrated Model

I truly love every photographer I’ve had the honor of working with. I’m so grateful when people share the results of our shoots — every message, every file, every photo means a lot to me. I really do appreciate the effort every single time. ❤️

But…

I’m so tired.

After so many years of full-time modeling, I’ve reached a point where I can no longer remember every photographer’s name. It feels awful to admit, but most names now live only in my pas...

Romantic relationships

between models and photographers

I wasn't going to discuss that topic, but I got asked that question lately, and I figured I should explore my own feelings about it and put it into a more articulated form.

There’s a kind of myth around the model-photographer couple: two creative souls, the muse and the eye, falling into a beautiful chaos of art and attraction. But in reality, it’s rarely as cinematic as it sounds.

When the creative field is saturated with beauty and tal...

Catching Up on Patreon 💌

It’s time to finally catch up on my Patreon updates!

It always feels a little overwhelming to start posting again after an intense tour — especially when I have so many new photos waiting to be shared. But I’m so excited to show you everything I’ve been working on — tons of new images and a few fresh articles are on the way!

Here are some of the topics I plan to explore with you before the end of this year:

Some inspiration for you: Laetitia Channel!

I deeply admire people with a strong core - literally and figuratively. Laetitia is a person of incredible physique, discipline, work ethic, and creativity. She never stops working on herself. I was lucky to peek at her workflow during a photo event in Barcelona last year, and believe me, it was hard to be focused on my own poses when someone of that level works next to you :)

If you have never heard of her (which is not very likely), here are a few links:

Very intense summary of September

Another month of this wonderful year is over. It left me exhausted of all the positive emotions I felt in my tour, looking forward to have a way simpler October (up to a degree, but at least a little bit simpler)

The month started in Marthas Vineyard, where I was admiring a summer lifestyle of people from a different tax bracket haha. And also a ferry travel from and back to NYC - it was a very nice experience, with only one disappointment - they don't sell tea on board, only beer and c...

Drench. Un-learning my fear of water

By https://www.instagram.com/corygoldbergphotography

A preview of one of the most mentally challenging shoots for me. Full set will be in Be Special tier in a few days

I was always intimidated by water. I couldn’t swim as a kid (though I tried every summer), and it made me feel shy around large bodies of water. I was always expecting people to throw me into a pool just to make fun o...

Overwhelm

In other words, a disaster of abundance. Sometimes I think that with the amount of photos I create with people each month, I could sustain my Patreon for a year — assuming at least half of the photographers let me use the images here.

I’m deeply proud of the work I do, and I want to share it as generously as possible on my social media, especially here since it’s my ...

Summary of August

Oh my, this year continues to be crazy, but in a good way!

I started the month of August in Polish mountains, hiking with my best friend and making plans for a new year of my life. (Plans are made, the path is clear and I know the next steps, so it all feels pretty good)

After the Polish mountains, I had a week of time with my mom, who visited me at my home, brought a ton of birthday presents and helped me to tailor half of the clothes in my closet. Thank you mom, you are the best...

What my job includes besides standing and being pretty in front of the camera

The Hidden Work of Being an Art Model

Today I want to talk about all the hidden work that models do — particularly art models, as I’m part of a community of traveling freelance professionals who mostly work non-commercially and run our careers as one-person businesses.

1. Maintaining the Look

This is actually the least time-consuming part of the job, even though it might seem like the most obvious.

Over time, the routine becomes a lifestyle. For me, it’s one ...

Recap of July

A real summer month! A real month where I haven't been traveling alone at all! which is a big achievement to me. It started and ended in Poland. where I was busy with my personal life appointments, doctors, lessons, hobbies, sports and eating crazy amount of fruits

In the middle of July I had a little tour, but it felt like I didn't even leave home, because both Germany and Switzerland are so familiar and so easy to travel through, compared to the States :)

Don't get me wrong, I ...

Some thoughts about my work and life as a model in America. Honest update

As I am approaching my birthday (July 31st), it’s naturally a time for me to reflect on my life. So let's talk about my plans, challenges, and ideas about the future.

My plan for modeling in the USA keeps changing – ever since I arrived, I’ve felt torn between the idea of living in New York, close to my friends and returning clients, or touring around the country, since it’s so big and I haven’t seen much of it yet. I was also considering applying to modeling or acting agencie...
