I've been trying to reach out and work with people a lot this winter. I realized that I need to keep being proactive and setting up shoots, and putting it out there with people I want to work with that I want to work with them.

Beginning to believe that this is always the case.

So when Vanessa said she had wanted to work with me for a while I immediately was like well hey we should make some plans! And it was an absolutely amazing shoot on a pretty cold day. We chatted for a while about rocks and the industry and took some really beautiful photos. Winter in Oregon is honestly my favorite time to shoot. The days are short, so sunset is a little earlier in the day, but the saturation of the forest is so so so high, and I love the blue tone of the long light passing through so much more of the earths sky.
