Can't wait for the next chapter just a thought but Corly's deserves to take his pound of flesh from Qarl before he burns so as a suggestion I say keelhaul him before he gets the mercy of dragon fire.

Gary Brown

Can not wait for the next chapter is jon going to be king

Conquering Tyrosh with a dragon and holding it aren't really the same things though... I mean, where would he get men to occupy it with him, how would he organize and rule what is basically a foreign city? Would he even be able to keep seeing Rhaenyra if he's stuck in Essos ruling a whole city state? At best I'd see him helping Daemon against the next attacks by Dorne and the Triarchy together when that alliance eventually happens, maybe earning Daemon's respect in the process but going all the way to Essos is a bit too much. Plus Qarl's gonna point the finger to Rivers which will point the finger to Otto, there's no basis to blame Tyrosh...

Love the new chapter. Jon being discovered as a dragon ride and what dragon he rides is going to scary the heck out of the Greens. Can't wait to see how Daemon is going to interact with Jon cause way I see it he is going to be one of two ways: option one he is proud with claiming Jon as his bastard since he is able to ride a dragon and is skilled with a blade or option two he is reluctantly going to claim him and in privately is a massive cunt to Jon. As a suggestion to how Jon can improve his social standing with the lords besides learning to make Valyrian steel he could also take over Tyrosh which would accomplish three things at the same time first improve his social standing if he does it by claiming Tyrosh had Qarl kill Leanor second it would make marring Rhaenyra easier since he would be bringing a lot of new territory, ships, and money to Westeros and third it would remove one of Rhaenyra enemies from the possible future dance since the Triarchy allies against her.

Gary Brown

They can just wait until the mourning period passes a year from now, while Rhaenyra can use that time to somehow get Jon recognized as a legitimate Targaryen, which would be best option given the circumstances. Jon's probably gonna have to speed up his blacksmithing lessons cause Valyrian Steel production would probably be the best argument for bringing him in to the Royal family... πŸ€”

Qarl is fucked and gonna be tortured for days, poor bastard but deserves it for being an insecure little bastard. Jon is now discovered to be a dragon rider and to be the owner of the second strongest dragon (second only to vhagar) so that’s gonna be really interesting going forward. At least this way they can justify him and rhae getting married since he’s not some backwater commoner anymore.

Donte

What a brilliant new chapter!! Thank you so much for putting it on the poll. What a way for Jon to make himself known to everyone. While I know that Jon and Rhae will end up married, it’s gonna be probably pretty hard to get to that point. First off Rhae just lost her husband and second, Jon will need to be elevated to a higher standing than he is now and be accepted by the Targs. Which might be hard with Viserys… But I can’t wait to see the Greens absolutely shit themselves when they learn about Cannibal!

TheWateringWizard

Yes! I dearly, dearly hope they learn about him otherwise the Green spy remains undetected and that would be bad

TheWateringWizard

There's no way he's not going back to the Blacksmith, Valyrian steel is more priceless then anything and Jon probably needs that knowledge more then ever to secure his standing.

KrimzonHawka

I think you're underestimating the Valyrian Steel bit, if Jon succeeds he could literally buy anything, even a title. His best bet though if he wants to marry Rhaenyra is the one I mentioned in my own post about this, Rhaenyra somehow getting Viserys to agree to legitimize Jon as a Targaryen.

KrimzonHawka

Well with Laenor dead there’s no way Rhaenyra isn’t avoiding a scandal. She can’t marry Jon as he stands now. Even if he reveals that he’s daemons bastard this doesn’t serve her well at all politically speaking. With Laenor dead she took a huge L. I mean Jon despite being a dragon rider and learning to craft Valyrian steel can’t be made into a consort he has house that would accept him. I was hoping her flesh magic might be used to save laenor oh well

Great chapter and it's only flaw is that it ended. I probably would read hundred chapters of this story and still would say it s not enough and i need more. But still Voivode big thanks that you added this chapter into previous poll. Only thing that came strange to me is that Daemon said about meeting Jon. It sounded like he did not already meet him in Pentos. As i remember he even threatened to take his head if something happened to Rhaenyra. But maybe i misjudged and he meant it in context of meeting for proper conversation so he could take measure of Jon .

Davildante

I fear what Deamon is going to do next, hes a wild card and agreed to that deal before Laenor died. He might change his mind but the risk it would alienate Rhaenyra might cause him to be careful about.

D C

Well that's a neat solution regarding Jon's 'origins'. Can't wait to see how that dynamic plays out now 😁. Once all this is dealt with though the question of how they solve Rhaenyra's widowhood is gonna come up still. She can't remain unmarried given her desire for more children and the pressure from her father and his court. And she likely won't find a new husband that would accept Jon being the true father of her future kids, nor would Rhaenyra and Jon break off their relationship and have her be with another man. So that leaves Jon himself, and they either go hard and messy with elopement, putting Rhaenyra back in the same precarious position she was in the original timeline from the blowback of the scandal, or somehow Rhaenyra has to convince Viserys to support the match after the mourning period, maybe even legitimize Jon. Can't wait to see if it's the latter and how they achieve that, but regardless I'm looking forward to the next several chapters once this issue is brought up and how you handle it Voivode πŸ˜‰

KrimzonHawka

Excellent chapter and what a way for Jon to make himself known. There's no hiding him now from the world. Word will spread that the Cannibal has a rider and it just so happens to be the knight that won the tourney and is in Rhaenyra's household guard. The Greens are going to be both livid and terrified. Thankfully returning with Qarl will endear him to Corlys and Rhaenys and Deamon agreed to lie about his heritage so Jon will be protected. Still, the plan about him being a Kingsguard is all but gone now.

D;arve Robinson

Well.... at least maybe they find out about Rivers from Qarl before they execute him

Brandon Buie

Yeah honestly I want to ride this out every other Friday

Durdens Wrath

A pity the events could not be altered. But glad to see Jon shine.

Durdens Wrath

Next poll! Way to good!!

Matthew Johnson

Rhaenyra clever here with Daemon but i worry that this scheme will backfire somehow. And well Jon wont be returning to the blacksmith i think.

D C

Would you mind putting this on the next GoT poll again. This is too good
