Time is moving so quickly these days. I have a hard time remembering what happened when. Years ago I messaged Carina on instagram, and then even more years passed before we finally managed to plan something.

Then a month...months(?) ago it happened. I could look it up, but I'm writing this from the wrong computer.

I've been trying to take my time with things now. I can't tell if that is what makes it feel so much faster, or if its the accumulation memorable events over the last 16 years and the growing distance between them. Most things feel like yesterday until I dwell on them, then they feel like entirely different lives...like things that happened to a different person even though it was me.

My hobbies have become slow processes, watching plants grow, then fruit their first fruit after years. Its nice not to live and breath photography to no longer be overwhelmed with its pursuit my ever waking moment.

Its weird how taking my time makes the time I dedicate to something feel more valuable. I arguably have more to myself than I have ever had. I guess not everything's value can be measured in its scarcity.
