I almost forgot. The moment Professor Snape learned Pettigrew was alive, even before learning Peter's role in Lilly's death, he never stopped snarling at the man. Add in my curiosity at who the blazes thought feeding Snape to Remus' werewolf self was funny and/or a good idea (Sirius is not off the list but it's not entirely his style) and I wonder if someone shouldn't keep a guard on the rat until he's safely in Azkaban. Not to mention that poor Tom's wand might be broken soon...

2025-06-26 11:27:14 +0000 UTCDelightful. If this is where this story ends I will be quite happy. All of the most important concerns have been dealt with a very different future awaits. Plus, I'd forgotten that Pettigrew had Voldie boy's wand. The path forward is much different than it was. If you were to carry it forward or perhaps better, offer a side story, I'd ask that it include the early days of Sirius' life going forward. I'd like to see his first meetings in years with Remus and Andromeda. Nothing particularly sexy but interesting stories to be told. Heck, maybe Narcissa will get to tell dear Lucius that the Lord of House Black is free and can choose his heir instead of it being a matter of who's left to claim the title? I'm sure the elder Malfoy will be delighted. In any case, thank you for bringing the story this far. It is wonderful.
