After a night with Dacey inside the ruins of Queenscrown, he attempts to make greater use of his Warging abilities than he ever has before, leading to some quite unexpected consequences.

This went very quickly from a “Yes, yes, yes!!” to a “No, no, no!!” I fear what damage the NK is going to be able to do with Branden in his control, with a bomb and with Jon stuck inside the eagle’s head… nothing better happen to Dacey, you understand ? She needs to be alive and healthy to join Jon and Arianne south… I thought that the latest chapter of Witchcraft would be the only terrible cliffhanger I’d be awaiting but nope! Soooo looking forward to the next chapter.

2025-03-31 20:27:30 +0000 UTCI really had hoped it would be that easy. The Others has always been the least interesting part of ASoIaF. After a couple of hundred stories, most of the time I hope the Long Night is just fully skipped.
