It’s early March and I can see it in the arrival of the small kidney shaped leaves that appear as soon the weather hits the 50’s for a day. Spring is coming.
The lesser celandine will bloom soon after covering the ground and a layer of green leaves and yellow flowers. It transforms the entire yard for a week. The smaller flowers are so difficult to shoot, but I think if I have Nicole lay among them and hold one of our early daisies we can make something interesting.
The shape Nicole eventually works herself into looks almost just like a celandine leaf the daisy is rising from in a see of true celandine.
