Draco and his family barely managed to avoid Azkaban after the war. The fines imposed on them were significant and one of the conditions that he had to abide by was quickly marrying a woman from a family that wasn’t under suspicion from the ministry. Astoria Greengrass leapt at the opportunity to try and reform him but her father insisted on a number of very harsh and embarrassing clauses being added to the marriage contract. Years later, her opinion of him has dimmed and his continuing inability to give her children has pushed her to the breaking point. She activates one of those embarrassing clauses which enables her to seek out another man to do the deed and has the perfect one in mind, her sister’s husband, Harry.
