I live for these moments of calm. The creek banks swell with winter rain, and snow from just a few inches deep to nearly 10 feet deep. I can hear the racing water from my balcony at night, I walk down to the bank, and even as it roars there is such beautiful sound, and peace. It was such a joy to spend one of these days shooting with Miss Patrish along the banks in the last of the snow. She is one of the first people I ever worked with in the North West, and it is always such a joy to create with her as both of us have grown and changed in our work.
