You can't shoot in Vegas without the work being influenced by Vegas. I think its the light. You wait until the end of the day for golden hour, and you create with fervor until that light has faded.
For a long time I didn't like Las Vegas all that much, but I've come to love it...as long as its winter. Where else can you meet up with Hazel and create images that feel perfectly iconic in a backyard. Maybe its the people there, but it seems like more than that to me. There's something romantic about a desert. Maybe its not only surviving but creating in a place that we should not be able too.
