Shelby Mason for The Jungle

The Columbia River Gorge landmarks are mostly on the Oregon side of the river, but if you cross the river, and drive just a little ways you can find equally as beautiful places that are infinitely less traveled.
Shelby was nice enough to put a day aside for me, so that we could make the trip to a secret little spot in Washington. We think of the Pacific North West as intensely green, but the intensity of the blue in these rivers is just as magical. The perfect back drop to create with on a cloudy/rainy day. My love for the winter light in our new home state is immeasurable. For models it is definitely weather that can only be endured for a short time, but with such perfect light we only need to shoot for a short time.
