Julie and Trina for Into the Wild

On our way back up from the Redwoods we stopped to hit the beach for a day with two incredible models I have been following for a long time, Trina and Julie.

After a couple weeks of traveling and pretty much amazing weather in the notoriously dreary and rainy North West it was fitting that the temperature dropped and we were hit with unending rain on our last day. Not really the best early spring weather for shooting, but luckily both Trina and Julie were incredibly committed and patient with creating these images. We hiked all the way down to the coast, and then straight back into the forest on our quest for a great spot with great light, and finally after a pretty long search we managed to find a spot.

I can never really get over how amazing the models I work with. In the cold and rain Julie in a shot in what was essentially a swampy mud hole, which we cleverly composed around, but essentially she's standing in, or walking through cold mud for our photos, and afterwards we all walked back down to the beach to shoot more when we found it to be completely empty.

I was anxious, and worried that the horrible weather was going to ruin this shoot, but we created some really amazing work because of how awesome and dedicated they were to the shots.

Hopefully you all enjoy these as much as we do now that we are dry, warm, and out of the rain.
