To those who have been around for a bit or a while, you might know that we're at the front of vocal research into distortion and harsh singing - and produced/released 2 documentaries with Will Ramos on the subject.
And we're looking to expand that research next year.
In September, we'll be releasing a crowdfunding campaign to help make that dream a reality. We're getting 501(c)3 status (non-profit for the fund) and will be using Kickstarter as our platform to make the most of the initial funding campaign.
We're working on tiers and expectations, and would like to start a smaller focus group with you, patrons, as our initial feedback. Next week we will expand this to two live streams on YouTube to gather more data.
Please, everyone is welcome. We need your help.
Elizabeth and I will be hosting this focus group, and we'd like as many of you as possible to come in, provide feedback, ideas and support for making this research possible.
