Revisions to Patreon Incoming
Added 2024-11-13 23:00:04 +0000 UTCThank you all for supporting the Patreon up to now. I will be making some changes to better reflect what I offer, as well as further reward Patrons.
1. There will be no more $3 Tier (Active Listener).
All those who sign up for the $1 Tier will be able to submit ideas to the monthly submission box. I will need to be selective about what submissions make it in, as you can only have 25 submissions in a single poll. $3 Backers should consider migrating to the $1 Tier or the $5 Tier. I will contact all $3 patrons to ensure they either cancel their membership or move to a new tier before it is removed.
2. Full audios will be exclusive to Patreon for a period of ONE MONTH starting with the November audio.
I did not want to do this. I still don't. But I cannot deny that crowdfunding and free stuff hasn't proven as much of an incentive to support as I'd hoped. Paid members will have immediate access regardless of backer tier. A download of the audio will not be available until the public release. Free members will be able to listen 24 hours prior to the public release, with previews being made available to Free Members throughout the month.
This period of exclusivity may extend based on if the thumbnail art is ready in time for the public release. In that case Free Members will be able to listen as scheduled regardless.

At the end of the day I do think pornography is not a need and I did not mind the idea of it being free so as not to make it a commodity. However, I would genuinely like to do this as often as possible, which means there's going to be give-and-take from my audience rather than all take. Time will tell if what I do is valuated as something worth people's hard-earned money, but I am not taking people prioritizing their own livings personally, so I hope they will not take me prioritizing mine personally either.

I have mad respect for your commitment to providing as much free content as possible, but I just don't think it's feasible to make a living as a NSFW artist without at least some degree of paywalling, whether it be timed releases like this, or making exclusive alt versions etc. Especially not in this relatively niche kink of ours where the audience is already pretty limited to begin with. So yeah, I don't think you should feel bad about putting any kind of exclusivity on your content, you do incredibly high quality work and it is absolutely worth money.
