Update - 9/27/24

My psychic informed me that the 27th will be a Friday, so I can only hope she is correct. Otherwise, I wasted 1,700 Pesetas.

• I wanted to have the Katara and Toph audio completed by now but I had too many irl obligations in the way. When I do have undivided attention to give I believe I can finish it in just one or two sittings, so I believe it will be ready by next week so long as nothing else crops up.

• I did an assembly cut of the Yang audio, with the hopes of having it ready for release not long after the Avatar one.

• I currently only have Rosalina's vocals for the Peach and Rosalina audio.

• I am still watching Sailor Moon here and there, but I should probably bite the bullet and just try to write something out for it. I generally don't like writing things I am not 100% familiar with, but I at least know the basics here, enough to make a solid script. I will put out the DMG script at the same time.

• I normally wait until the next month to discuss the start of our poll winner, but I want to go over logistics for the Cammy audio. Simply put I am not confident any of our American VAs can give a consistent convincing British Accent, or have the pitch necessary to impersonate Cammy. Her voice is much deeper than anyone I work with normally can do. So I will try to reach out to AngelDark, the only British vocalist in the scene that I know of. She is, frankly, a very hard person to get a hold of nowadays, so do not be surprised if I have to find someone new entirely. Thus I will say up front the Cammy audio may take even longer than normal, which is saying something.

• I mentioned taking on some side projects, so I will outline the ones I am working on now with the caveat that they are unlikely to be at the level of production quality or length of the Monthly audios.

  • Science2311 and I are collaborating on a Jill Valentine animatic. It will be more static than the others, using only one angle. It will be an animatic focused on leg and foot movement primarily, as I noticed this is a popular fetish (only seeing the legs under the stall), as a fun side project we can complete quickly in comparison to the Zelda one.

  • A commissioner and Patron brought up a parody of the Metal Gear Solid 4 scene of Johnny Sasaki relieving himself inside of a barrel. His CO and future wife Meryl Silverburgh will take his place. Featuring IHeartLewd as Meryl, and AkujiSaitoVA as a hapless rebel soldier unlucky enough to investigate the scene. I am still looking for a male voice to do a few short lines. So if you are interested in trying out for a small part please let me know.

  • Lastly, while the Metal Gear Solid V audio suggestions came in third place, I was attracted to the idea of using Quiet's humming to depict desperation. AkujiSaito and I discussed how much it would cost to have them hum and grunt rather than provide dialogue. It turns out, not much. Thus, a cassette-style tape of Quiet, combining both prompts related to the game, is in production as well. All out-of-pocket. I am sure one of you will be tempted to make a joke about how it will be better than the story of MGSV. If you do I will go to your house and make you feel unsafe.
