Production Updates - 8/16/24

I'm going to try something new moving forward, which is a weekly production update on Fridays. Let's get the boring stuff out of the way.

• Mori Calliope piece is on track to be finished this coming week.

• Toph and Katara audio will sadly take more time as AkujiSaitoVA (Katara) will be moving this month and has limited time.

• Yang and Ruby scripts are out. MacStarVA has given a two week estimate for her lines, AkujiSaitoVA has yet to give an estimate due to the above.

• Tomo-chan and Sailor Moon scripts are my priority after Mori is released. I got bogged down in freelancing the last 10 days so have not had time to write. 

Okay! Time for a little art showcase.

 The artwork for the Toph and Katara audio was done by pan_solo41 on Instagram, and she is immensely talented with excellent prices ($60 for two figures, fully rendered), with one of the fastest turnarounds of anyone I worked with up to now. I will likely start to work with the same handful of artists, rather than do what I intended in the past (have different artists for each audio) since it's always a bit of a shot in the dark if they will turn art around quickly. Speaking of:

 The Mori piece went through three artists as two of them dropped out (with full refunds), hence why there is only a sketch so far by the latest one. This piece was done by an artist named Snakykins, who will hopefully open a NSFW twitter account for commissions in the near future.

I would LOVE to show you the sketch for the Yang piece... But the artist has alluded to quitting art and has yet to respond to inquiries about whether I can expect a finished picture before then, or even if they will issue a refund. As such I will hold off on showing the sketch until I hear back from them.

I couldn't get a preview for the Mori audio ready in time for today (the mastering is off and would be unpleasant to listen to at this stage), but I wanted to include samples of the AkujiSaito's Mori and MacStarVA's Toph, since I think both are extremely spot on.
