Dimples and Damsel for The Jungle and Into The Wild
Added 2014-12-21 08:09:19 +0000 UTCNot really known for its majestic landscape, but full of amazing people to photograph, Ohio has been a difficult place to find locations in the past. After looking around online a bunch I found a great spot just out of town for my shoot with Damsel and Dimples. None of the locals had heard of Hayden Falls, so when we set off to shoot we didn't really know what we were in for.
Normally a hike to a waterfall is a scenic trek up a river, through forests, or climbing up into mountains. This trip began from a graveyard near a soccer field, and while we did hike briefly through some woods those woods were full of firefighters practicing belaying across the small canyon. We thought we were doomed, and more than likely not going to be able to shoot. As soon as we set up to shoot though, everyone else in the woods just disappeared. For about an hour we managed to shoot. This was pretty much a two for shoot as many of these images were for the Jungle, but after we realized nobody was going to show up we shot some nudes for my series Into The Wild as well.
