How would you describe your campaign setting?
Added 2022-07-02 16:16:39 +0000 UTCWe're trying to gather some ideas on what people are playing right now and what maps people would want. :) We've been blown away by the huge support for Hyperdrive Fleet and its made us appreciate the different directions we can explore.
Please pick multiple options if you're running multiple campaigns! Or if you campaign crosses over multiple genres. And of course, feel free to let us know about your campaign and any specific genres you'd like to see from us in the comments.

Always late to these, lol. Anyway, I run an ancient world game mashed together with cosmic horror. Bronze age technology, but actual god kings. A unique part of my world is that it is only 2,000 years old, there are no ancient cultures the main civilization is the first one to ever arise, but also the world is still showing the damage from the titanomachy (based on the Greek stories mashed up with Marduk vs Tiamat from Sumer and the story of Hiranyakashippu and Narasimha from the Indian Vedic literature).

2022-07-24 20:56:31 +0000 UTCMy world is extremely JRPG/shounen anime fantasy. (I reckon it fits much better with 4e D&D than the traditional settings do.) As such, it definitely has a lot of dieselpunk elements too—nothing weird about warforged, automail arms, fantasy guns etc. It's also very post-dungeon; magic is widespread, more likely to be industrialised than mystifying, and somebody is definitely trying to sell you the arcane equivalent of an NFT.

2022-07-12 18:21:34 +0000 UTCI run a fantasy new world campaign so based on the age of discovery and 16th-17th century with the classical high fantasy elements mixed into it. I do also borrow from meso-american and native fantasy too. It's a nice blend

2022-07-05 13:52:46 +0000 UTCSort of a late medieval europe recovering from a great war and near global disaster currently begining an arcanologically powered industrial revolution... It... its complicated.
