Hey the link seems not be working

Safia Aldulaijan

Worked for me just this moment when I tested it after seeing your comment :/

@Mini_Heals - I must have missed the part in the free adventure where you need to start or end the journey "across the world" - where should I look to find that?

also the expert is there for something but it doesn't say what

Thisjus10

also I can't imagine a 15 level party would need help sneaking into the mansion. dimension door would make quick work of that :P I suppose it's teleport proof ?

Thisjus10

yeah this is super confusing. I was like uhh teleport inside the house and then what, oh some how we're inside a bag of holding looting but it says to use a bag of holding to get into the place, and there is nothing in between. The gap is super noticeable and very confusing it's like how to get inside the mansion. Now you're in a bag of holding.

Patreon was acting weird a bit ago, perhaps try again now, it seems to be working fine on my end.

Monkey DM

To clarify, the first link “HERE” is resolving as a “Bad Request”.

scumbag

The link in the post to get the adventure seems to be down.

Are you having a laugh my man with Dimension dooring across the world... You realize it's 500 feet not 5000 and even then it wouldn't be enough to casually hop across continents. And well monkey mentioned the other stuff XD (500 feet is 150 meters, you know the thing Bolt could do in a little over 15 seconds probably.)

Mini_heals

Thanks! Makes sense that there's more info in the full adventure, the gaps are noticeable in the free version. Still, it sounds like there's a lot of focus on the bag of holding when it seems like most 15th level parties won't need to use it at all. Thank you anyway for your quick replies and keep up the good work!

Hello, - So its written that this is an altered bag of holding, hence why it can hold so much more space, similar to the map Cze drew. - You can't possibly plan around all possibilities at these higher levels, which is why we described most of the options, the rest is for the DM to handle according to his party, but remember that the bag of holding is another dimension so most teleport spells wouldn't be able to teleport you inside it. - I'm assuming you're reading the free adventure for chapter 2.2, if you want more content as to what happens whilst inside the bag I invite you to read the expended adventure with more rooms, it does contain a treasure that fits the bill quite well. - Sure the party can flee with various mean such as a teleport spell, but you're in another dimension whilst inside the bag, so the spell would fail, plane shift could work, but you can simply rule as a DM that it doesn't work. And regarding the Boss, he will find you no matter where you are. Hope this clarifies things for you :)

Monkey DM

Cool. I don't mean to be negative! These are just some things that left me scratching my head :).

I'll wait for Monkey DM to respond. :)

This is a cool premise. But I'm a bit confused by a couple of things: - Bags of Holding are normally normal-sized on the outside, so Medium and Large creatures couldn't realistically fit through the opening. I realise that assumption is suspended for this particular bag, and the map which you published, but it would probably make sense to recognise this fact within the adventure and call out that this is a unique magic item which doesn't have that restriction. - How come, for an adventure for 15th level characters, there's no discussion at all of teleportation? A simple Dimension Door spell, or a few castings, could make half the content of this module inapplicable. I realise it says that gaining entry is a sandbox, but with such spells you don't even need anything more than to know that there's treasure in the ballroom, and a rough idea of layout. It seems odd not to address this while putting so much effort into other methods of entry. - Chapter 2.2 says "Once inside the bag they can loot and plunder to their hearts content". But getting into the bag is the start of the break-in, not the end? Description of the lead-lined ballroom where the treasure is kept seems to be missing? This seems especially odd as you recently published a treasure room map that would fit this bill perfectly. - Likewise to the first point, it feels unlikely that a 15th level party would attempt to flee a high level heist on foot. Any number of spells, magic items, or other abilities would completely change Chapter 3 as it is written.
