In fact - those who believe themselves to be non-suspectible to it's illusions will surely succumb before it! For such advertisement uses cues that influence our inherent unconscious drives to implant suitable suggestions in a manner that can discreetly bypass the guards of our rational mind. (The rational mind likes to pretend it's in control but nah, it's but a kiddo playing on the doorsteps of the ancient house of consciousness.) Obviously not AAALT - but the advertisement industry provides suitable occupations for those with manipulative edge to their charachter.
