Reigan asking "would you ever curse someone" comes across to him and to normal people as "Is there anyone you dislike enough that you wouldn't care if something bad happened to them." But, to Mob, which is why he took so long to answer it's actually real, like if he wanted to curse someone he would actually be doing it to them and hurting them... Reigan spent most of the episode not understanding Mob's perspective, but he came around in the end I liked this episode a bunch, it had a lot of suspense and I'm not even sure why it just keeps you on your toes haha

From the man who wanted a curse, the idea is set up how believing in something—no matter if it’s true or not—can weigh on your actions and conscience. Then with the stalker, we see that Mob is someone who treats humans and spirits equally. It all culminates with the ghost family, and Reigen, with his newfound perspective from Mob, doesn’t end up “salt splashing” the exorcism and tricking the clients. He knows that they would believe they exorcised a harmless family. Though they were initially scared, would they be able to live with that decision in the future? I love the dilemmas that Mob goes through this episode, but I also love how they’ve characterized Reigen in the background as well!
