Hamilton. I want to talk with you for about 5 min. My name is Andy. I own a kava bar in Sacramento called cult kava. It’s @cult_kava on insta. I have some questions for you about fermented kratom as some of my competitors are sneaking it into their kava. I had assumed they were using extract when they say “enhanced” but I’m learning on my last trip to Indonesia that they are using fermented kratom. They call it Bentgha over there. I want to speak to you about some things going on that are troubling in my industry that we really need help educate the public on and maybe try to somehow stop a very troubling trend I’m seeing…. Troubling things that I think will lead to problems for kratom, big problems. There’s some stuff going on, that is kind of alarming and your platform really could help. This isn’t a fan request here, or anything to do with promoting my business. It’s a very different matter.

I’ve been on Bup for 3 years and a high dose for the first year or so and though I haven’t taken kratom in over a year, I used it on and off for quite a while and it always had an effect.

Not necessarily, it depends on the size of your bupe dose + your rate of metabolism + time since last dose. Also, if pain relief is your main concern, bupe binds at the nociceptin receptor without any interference from kratom, for it does not interact at this site. kratom will have a hard time finding somewhere to bind, but it has potential to still bind at mu. bupe is simply more affinitive at every site. there's other effects on the brain that kratom has that are mediated via methods alternative opioid receptors, so it will still provide some type of effect if not for pain relief. lots of alkaloids

Just noticed that Kratom Id have to be in pretty bad shape for it to work slightly in an antinoceptive way if bupes in my system

buprenorphine will over power the kratom at every receptor. don't take more bupe on top of the kratom, take your normal dose and then add kratom. you want to take the dose that your body is accustomed to. bupe is interesting in its metabolites, norbupe. which is thought to play a fair role in the therapeutic benefits the drug offers. bupe will overpower norbupe. if possible, kratom will still bind, with reduced effect, if possible. so, i would imagine mixing them can only increase antinociceptive effects. but mixing them can have other negative effects, you should look into it. oh, and buy an ice pick, for the impending impaction of shit in your ass. Good luck! (magnesium citrate from walgreens is the alternative)

What's everyone's take on drinking Kratom a pseudo agonist COMBINED with buprenorphine a pseudo as well?? I have bad chronic pain and I don't want to have any thing stupid fucking up my pain releif.

I've used it (Green Maylay iirc) a few times in combination with small amounts of caffeine and for me it feels like you drank a full cup of coffee, but without the jitters. I enjoy it, but I'd be cautious of frequent use. #NotMedicalAdvice

Been taking it for a year off and on for months at a time and no I'll effects here....and I'm a ginger so my skin would surely melt off before yours....you might be somewhat allergic?

my experience is after like a month my skin turned and stayed red and my eyes looked convincingly jaundiced, eh anecdotally. i love the shit, but im kinda scared of it now

Have you ever discussed your experiences with kratom in depth? I’m very interested because I take it recreationally and really enjoy it.

Hamilton what are your thoughts on mercury being an elemental drug like xenon? Obviously not something you would want to do but you know the idea of a "mad hatter" came from the gradual insanity that rich dudes would develop from mercury in their hats.

This is a very interesting interview with these guys but I can’t help but notice what could be interpreted as self-promotion of their kratom teabag company. There’s a lot of talk about how much better it is to do a water extraction rather than consuming the whole ground leaf, but there’s no evidence presented that it’s in any way better.
