I loved this series enough that I've rented Violent Evergarden The Movie and will watch it tonight. In the opening credits I kept seeing 'Evan Call' It turns out he's an American who went to school at the Berklee School of Music majoring in film scoring. He became interested in anime. . moved to Japan and composes and arranges for anime films.
