There was a challenge with new patrons subscribing at the end of the month, being charged upon joining, and being charged AGAIN on the 1st. Many said they were not aware when they joined this would happen. Patreon claims they make it clear. With the feedback I received, this was not clear to many new users or simply confusing.
Patreon does regular changes and upgrades and gave Me an option few months back to charge subscription instead. I thought this would be fair.
If you join on the 18th your next billing is the 18th of the following month.
This applies to ALL new Patrons.
It does mean if you are an EXISTING member that has joined, canceled, and rejoins, that you will move to subscription billing.
You can join ANYTIME in the month without penalty of being charged at the start of the next month.
It does not benefit Me, I thought this would be fair.
